Nicole Patrice De Member

Nicole Patrice De Member is founder and Chief Executive Officer of INDAIS, a data governance platform that she created after serving on a team looking into the data failures that led to the Antares II explosion in 2014. She has advised on data security issues and protocols for initiatives backed by the United Nations, the Vatican, governments, and businesses. Previously, she played a key role in hip-­hop and electronic dance music by founding the influential Effigy Studios, which she sold to Eminem; [Raves.com](http://raves.com/), an interactive site for the music community; and [Groovetickets.com](http://groovetickets.com/), one of the first online ticketing companies. She’s since changed fields, and ran special projects at Founder’s Fund, a San Francisco–­based venture capital fund, before starting her new company.
