San Francisco-based artist Griffin Crafts connects audiences and musicians through creation, curation, and community. As a producer and DJ, he blends acoustic and synthetic sounds from around the world into eclectic sets rooted in downtempo, slow house, and slow techno. As an organizer, Crafts is emerging as one of the most innovative curators in the United States, bringing in numerous acts for US and California debuts. Relying on word of mouth rather than advertising, his events combine the best of underground music culture with forward-thinking aesthetics and professional production. He is a curator of the long-running California campout Priceless, a member of the Shika Shika artist collective and label, founder of the Strategic Reserve event series, and is on the Board of Directors of the Salem Orchestra in Oregon.
