Cyndi Coon

Cyndi builds human ecosystems by connecting people to topics that matter globally. She uses her skills as a storyteller to co-create narratives for tools, training, and applied outcomes. She is a subject matter expert in information shaping and threatcasting. She serves as the Co-Director of the Applied Futures Lab, Chief of Staff at the Threatcasting Lab, Producer at ASURE Applied Research Lab, Producing Director at the Weaponized Narrative Initiative, and a producer for the office of the president at Arizona State University. She is on the board of directors of the People Centered Internet. Cyndi is the Founder and CEO of Laboratory5 Inc. where she produces rule-bending for the good of humans for government agencies, higher education, and nonprofits. Cyndi is the author of Thrive! Creative's Guidebook to Professional Tenacity (Cognella, 2019) and co-author of the upcoming book Threatcasting (Morgan & Claypool 2021) She is a speaker on the topics of inclusion, information shaping, Threatcasting, and human ecosystems. Cyndi Coon is a time traveler, writer, producer, and builder of rule-bending ideas for good. She leads a fun life, where she lives and works in a creative space in the Western United States Sonoran desert.
