\*\*Alex is a storyteller and innovator committed to finding solutions that advance a just and regenerative human presence on this planet. For 20 years Alex has been supporting people seeking to get in touch with their values, hold a vision for the future, and put their full selves — their time and talent, relationships and resources — towards the impact that brings about that future. Before coming to IONS in late 2016, Alex was living in Costa Rica with his family, leading a start-up non-profit of Costa Ricans transitioning to organic farming. Prior to that he served as the Director of Development at Pachamama Alliance for nearly eight years. He continues to give fundraising, messaging and branding support to non-profits around the world working towards social and environmental justice. On the weekends you can find Alex, his wife, and two children walking through the redwoods, swimming in rivers, and singing songs of gratitude
