\*\*Teenaged activist Aji Piper is a member of the #YouthVGov lawsuit. In the suit, plaintiffs Earth Guardians and 21 young people aim to hold the federal government accountable for refusing to act on climate change. Piper’s love for the Earth began as a child growing up in Washington at the end of a half-mile dirt road. His mother raised him in connection with Buddhism and herbalism, and when Piper was 12 he joined Plant for the Planet, a youth-run organization that has planted 14 billion trees worldwide. Now a member of the Earth Guardians’ RYSE Council, Piper speaks at rallies, events and universities.
