Creative Visions
We are Creative Activists
Our Story In 1990, Kathy Eldon awakened from a deep sleep with the blueprint for "Creative Visions," an organization that would use the power of arts and media to “help people achieve their potential, for themselves and the planet.” She launched Creative Visions as a production company to create media that matters and together with her daughter Amy, made a series of documentary films.
Following the death of Kathy’s son, Dan, a 22-year old artist and photojournalist killed while covering the conflict in Somalia for Reuters News Agency, they founded Creative Visions Foundation in 1998 as non-profit organization to celebrate and support “creative activists” like Dan.
