Biodiesel for Bands
Using biodiesel for bringing bands to fans and fans to bands
John Long and Eric Skjerseth founded Biodiesel for Bands (BFB) and STAMP (Sustainable Touring for Artists, Musicians, and Performers) in 2012. John is an environmental entrepreneur and the founder of Blue Sun Biodiesel, Zero Hero, and The Sustainable Living Association. Eric is a songwriter and musician who has played in and toured with the Zen Mothers, Inchfoot Yard and Wasabi. Biodiesel for Bands and STAMP are sister organizations who work together helping artists, musicians and performers to tour safely, affordably and sustainably. STAMP is a 501c3 nonprofit educational organization that educates artists to tour professionally and successfully on sustainable fuels. It is a job-training program for professional touring artists. Biodiesel for Bands is an employee owned LLC that donates 100% of after tax profits to STAMP and other arts related charities. Together, they serve a need by providing artists a choice they currently do not have, to conveniently tour using sustainable, environmentally friendly fuel.
