Mahidhar Lakkavaram

Mahidhar is a chemical engineering major at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. His career interests lie in STEM-related fields but he has a passion for writing as well, so he tries to combine the two worlds in most of his work. Some of his favorite topics to write about include renewable energy (which is the industry he wants to work in), plastic pollution, and oil & gas. Aside from Planet Home, he also writes for his University's newspaper and plays the Tabla in his free time.
